is a dynamic training intensive designed for individuals who wish to embody more confidence, joy and balance in their lives. Throughout the weekend, students will learn how to effectively apply Aikido's powerful and flowing techniques in response to physical attack. The Introduction to Aikido weekend serves as the basic level training
which is a prerequisite for those who wish to join the Intermediate
level training.
Aikido is a dynamic physical and spiritual discipline. It's
principles and techniques are designed to bring the practitioner into a
profound state of union with Ki (primordial energy). Through training
students develop a deep knowledge of Aikido technique as a practical
and effective means to bring resolution to conflict.
The practice of Aikido is vigorous and challenging, requiring a
sincere commitment to self-knowledge and spiritual development. The
Aikido Center welcomes mature individuals of all races, nationalities,
gender, sexual orientation, and religion.
